Montrose Animal Health Center was established in 1979 by Dr Nolan Rubin. In 1980, the hospital became an AAHA accredited practice. This means that Montrose is held to the highest veterinary standards. Since then it has grown into a flourishing three doctor practice with a caring support staff.
At Montrose, we offer a full array of services. These services include progressive preventative and therapeutic medical care, dental care including digital dental radiography, digital radiography, ultrasonography, and traditional as well as laser surgery. Laser surgery allows your pet to recover more quickly and with less swelling, inflammation, and pain. To make anesthesia as safe as possible for your pet, we use Propofol and Sevoflurane, which are some of the safest agents available. All pets are monitored closely by blood pressure measurement, pulse oximetry, and ECG. We have an in house diagnostic laboratory as well as a pharmacy. We carry the major prescription veterinary diets your pet may need. We offer limited boarding and grooming services. Montrose is one of the only hospitals in the area that has a theraputic laser to help treat both acute and chronic conditions.
When you bring your pet to Montrose, you are considered to be part of the family. We will do anything within our ability to provide the ultimate in care for your pet. Our goal is to meet the needs of your pet as well as your needs as a client.
